Reasons to be cheerful - 18th October 2018

I've taken a long break from blogging and had a long, hard think about how I want to approach it...

Things are changing and developing in my life and so I'm not sure quite how blogging's going to fit in, but I do quite enjoy #R2BC, so here goes...

My book launched!!! I had a joint 50th birthday party/book launch and although it was technically my party my wonderful partner seemed to do most of the hard work of looking after all the guests while I just worried about reading out loud.

Copies of the book can be ordered from here or you can get the Kindle version here.

I seem to be doing a lot of creative stuff in the next few weeks, I'm facilitating some creative work as part of the Made In Roath festival in Cardiff. On 25th I'm appearing on NHSound radio at Neville Hall Hospital, where I'm appearing on Gill Garrett's "The Writer's Room" and on 27th, I'll be taking the lead at the Menopause Cafe at Barnabas Arts House.

It's all very exciting and I'm managing to write new stories too, which is great fun.

What are your reasons to be cheerful this week?

  1. Welcome back and well done on the book! Hope it does really well x

    1. Thanks Becky, I have been too busy living to write about it :-)

  2. Oh it sounds like lots of going on and lots to look forward to. Well done on the laucnh of your book. Mich x

  3. Woohoo! I'm ordering it on Amazon Prime as soon as we get to My mum's in London. Congratulations. xxx
