Reasons to be cheerful - 22nd November 2018

I finally started editing my novella this week (well okay, yesterday), and it's going surprisingly well. I know there are going to be some significant re-writes to do, but that's okay. This is a long-standing project that I actually started about 7 or 8 years ago and have never got around to finishing, so I'm pleased to be finally moving it on.

The temporary Christmas job I started last month turned into a permanent job this week which I'm really excited about because it means I'm back to having a regular income as well as the money I earn from writing (which is anything but regular or predictable)

I've written some new work this week as well, ready to perform at Art On The Hill 2018 on Saturday morning. As well as performing I'm hoping to fit in visiting as much of the other work as I can. If you're in Newport, you can see me MC-ing and performing at "Newport Writers at Art On The Hill", upstairs in the Riverfront between 9.30am and 11.30am on Saturday morning (24th).

It's been an incredibly busy week, but also a really fun one. What are your reasons to be cheerful this week?

  1. Yay, well done on the permanent job and excellent you have started the novella edit. Have a fab weekend, Mich x

  2. Cool news on the job front and something tells me the universe is giving me messages to get writing something other than a blog so consider yourself an inspiration #R2BC

  3. Great news on the job front and that the novella is moving on!

  4. Enjoy that regular income. Well done on making it permanent. x

    1. I know, such a relief to have a regular income and very pleased to have the job made permanent so quickly :-)
