Reasons to be cheerful - 2nd November 2018

R2BC at Mummy from the Heart
Wow, I just seem to be constantly busy at the minute, but I'm not complaining...
Menopause café

I was asked a few weeks ago if I'd facilitate a menopause café at a local arts centre. I've not facilitated a group for a few years, but I felt quite keen to give this a go, so I said yes. It's a great group to be part of and there's lots of great discussion and support.
New job

I started a new job recently and I'm just getting my head around all the different elements, but I'm really enjoying doing something different and thinking about how it impacts on the other things that I'm doing.
Starting a new writing project

Well actually, I'm picking up and running with an old project, but I'm ready to take this story that I started writing about 10 years ago over the finish line now. It needs quite a bit of re-writing, but I'm really looking forward to getting stuck into it.

I hardly ever mention them, but I'm hugely grateful to my family and they are a constant source of joy to me, so hugs to all of them.

What are your reasons to be cheerful this week?

  1. As I approach the menopause, I am fascinated by the concept of a menopause café and would love you to write more about that sometime. I am quite envious of people with new challenges which shows I need one I think. And yes a day to appreciate family for sure #R2BC

    1. I certainly will write a bit more about the menopause café Kate, it is a very supportive group.

I'm all up for new challenges, but I think being in a good place means they're a lot more welcome than if I was still struggling xx

  2. New job, new group, and new book. You're really on the move Sarah. Have a great weekend and a good week ahead. xx

    1. Aw thank you. I am looking forward to the week ahead, as I head north to spend some time with my beloved :-)

  3. So much going on and it all sounds a lot of fun. I'm so glad the new job is going well. Mich x

    1. I slightly feel like I'm running about like a headless chicken at the moment, but once I get the next couple of days out of the way I can relax for a week :-)
