Privacy Policy

Sarah Writes From Wales is committed to protecting your privacy and security.

Sometimes I may ask you to supply personal information to help me provide a service. This might be subscribing to my email newsletters, leaving a blog comment or entering competitions.
For this I may store and process personal information.

When you sign up to my newsletter I store only your email address and IP address.

Leaving a blog comment means I store the name you give, your email address, and a URL if you include this. This does not add you to my newsletter.

I do not sell anything through Sarah Writes From Wales so I never process or hold payment information or postal addresses.

By submitting this information, you consent to such processing. I will keep this information indefinitely to make your visits to my blog easier and to provide you with blog updates if you have signed up to these. Every email you receive has an ‘unsubscribe’ option and once you have unsubscribed I cannot add you back to my mailing list without your explicit consent.

You can contact me at any time on to request a break down of the information I hold about you and I will respond within seven working days.

If Sarah Writes From Wales suffers a breach in security that could affect your personal data then I will let you know via email that this has happened and what I’m doing about it to keep your information safe.

Subject to the terms below, I will not share your personal details with any third party without your consent. I sometimes provide information about users, statistics, traffic patterns and site information to the brands I work with, but this is general information about total numbers and types of visitors, never information that identifies an individual user.
